What rated tension specifications are available for the SJ-CZ series sensor?
The rated tension options include 15KG, 30KG, 50KG and 100KG.
Can the bearing inner diameter of the SJ-CZ sensor be customized?
Standard bearing inner diameters are available in Φ17mm and Φ25mm. For special size requirements, please consult the manufacturer.
What is the power supply requirement for the SJ821 amplifier?
The SJ821 amplifier requires a 220VAC ±10% power supply.
What types of analog output signals does the SJ821 support?
It supports 0-10V voltage output or 4-20mA current output. The output type can be switched through parameter settings.

Installation & Wiring
How many standard installation methods are available for the SJ-CZ sensor?
There are two standard installation methods: inner-side installation and outer-side installation. The sensor can be installed on the machine wall plate or mounting bracket.
What are the bearing requirements at both ends of the measuring roller when installing the SJ-CZ sensor?
Only one end of the measuring roller should be locked, while the other end must allow free axial expansion and contraction. The measuring roller must also be processed with both dynamic balancing and static balancing.
How should the sensor input terminals of the SJ821 amplifier be connected?
  • Channel 1: 23 shield, 24 white, 25 black, 26 green, 27 yellow.
  • Channel 2: 28 shield, 29 white, 30 black, 31 green, 32 yellow.

Debugging & Calibration
What conditions must be met before zero adjustment, P.02 / P.03?
Zero adjustment must be performed under a no-tension condition. There should be no material or additional load on the tension roller.
How should the full-scale value, P.04 / P.05, of the SJ821 be set?
Enter the total rated load of all sensors connected to the corresponding channel, in kg. For example, if Channel 1 is connected to one 30KG sensor, enter 30. If it is connected to two 30KG sensors, enter 60.
What is the recommended calibration weight?
It is recommended to use a standard weight equal to 30%-70% of the full-scale range. The best calibration weight is about 50% of the full-scale range.
What should I do if I forget the SJ821 operation password?
Enter the universal password “139” to access the program. Then you can modify the password setting value in parameter P.12.

Communication & Host System
What communication protocol does the SJ821 support?
The SJ821 is equipped with a standard RS485 interface and follows the Modbus-RTU protocol. It only supports function code 03, read holding registers, and function code 06, write single holding register.
What are the default communication parameters of the SJ821?
The default baud rate is 9600bps, with 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit. The baud rate can be switched between 4800bps and 115200bps.

Troubleshooting
What should I check if a fault occurs during trial operation adjustment?
Please check the following items first:
  • Whether the tension roller is too heavy and exceeds the zero adjustment range.
  • Whether there is residual material or extra load on the roller.
  • Whether the sensor wiring is correct.
  • Whether the sensor or amplifier is faulty.
What should I do if the tension zero point frequently drifts during operation?
This is usually caused by installation problems. Check whether the sensor is mounted with distortion, and whether the sensors at both ends are installed on the same plane.
